How to enter Bhutan from India
If you are planning to go by train or road then there are few entry points from India to Bhutan. Depending on your arrival and location you can chose any of the entry point to Bhutan

All foreign travelers must obtain Visa clearance before entering Bhutan. The actual visa will be stamped on arrival. The Tourism Council of Bhutan approves your visa clearance after receiving the full payment including the Visa fee of USD 40 along with a scanned colored photocopy of your passport which should be at least six months valid.
However you need to carry a valid Photo ID card and need to fill a registration form at the entry point or on arrival at Paro. Do carry the original documents and photograph with you.

What are the documents I need to carry to enter Bhutan? Do I need to apply for Visa?

Visa is not required for Indian visitors to Bhutan. Before entering Bhutan you need to apply for entry permit at the entry points at India-Bhutan border. Documents required are Valid Passport/Voter ID card. Do carry the originals for verification.

Day 1 Arrrival at Paro Airport
Upon arrival in Paro airport you will meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel near Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. After some rest sightseeing begins. Visit various places of interest in Thimphu like National Library where you can see the world's largest book. Later visit the National Institute of Traditional Medicine, the National Textile Museum and the Folk Heritage Museum in and around Thimphu. Overnight stay in Thimphu hotel

Day 2 - Thimphu
After breakfast we will take you to one of the most beautiful passes in Bhutan, Dochula Pass. Later visit National Memorial Chorten, a beautiful landmark built in memory of the third King of Bhutan. You will also visit TrashiChhoedzong a beautiful office of the King. In the evening a short drive to Kuenselphodrang (Budha Point) and see the largest statue of the Budha in Bhutan. Overnight stay in Thimphu hotel

Day 3 - Thimphu to Paro
After an exotic visit to places in and around Thimphu today we will retrace our steps back to the place where you landed in Bhutan. back to Paro and we will visit Ta Dzong, the National Museum and Paro Rinpungdzong. Evening free at leisure, you can explore the town and take a walk in and around the place. Overnight stay in hotel in Paro.

Day 4 - Tigers Nest Monastery 
While in Bhutan you should not miss this historical and amazing place, the Taktshang or Tiger's Nest Monastery. You need to hike in the lush green mountain track with amazing views for about 3 hours to reach the Monastery. This is one of the best attractions in Bhutan. If you are physically fit then only you are advised to go for this trek. 

Day 5 - Departure
The beautiful vacation ends on this day and you will be transferred to airport with loads of sweet memories
